US Immigration from Peru

Ok, so I came across some discussions here today regarding the I-865 (sponsor change of address) and I realized I never did one, actually I never realized I had to....and it's been a long, long time. We did do the online change of address submission for my spouse (the beneficiary) and I made the mistake of assuming that the government would just magically link us together that I was included in that deal (yeah, yeah...I know).

So now, we are getting close to 2 and 1/2 years in and I'm not certain what I should do at this point. Any recommendations?

Hello! I know I need a letter from my employer (I work for the government) stating various things. I asked HR and they stated that an sf50 should be sufficient. Is this true? It shows the nature of employment and my annual salary. Do I need an actual letter or is this fine? Furthermore, our i129F was approved in September. Will the validity be extended for a year?

My fiancee is currently working on getting the 3 civil documents required for the Peruvian embassy. What else is needed? Birth certificate, passport, civil documents, approved i129F... anything else? A checklist of things required for the actual interview would be helpful. Thank you so much.

We are starting to prepare the N-400 application and was wondering how everyone recommends submitting the evidence, particularly when it comes to such things as bank statements. Do/did you redact your account numbers (partial or otherwise) and/or expenditures, etc...? I didn't redact anything in the original IR-1 process but always had second thoughts about that later. Any thoughts?

Hello my fianc e and I will be going through the embassy in Lima, Peru. We received our approval notice from USCIS on September 17, 2024 and have been waiting for the notice from NVC since then. How long should the process take to get notification and then for them to send the petition to the embassy? Also, what documents should we be gathering in advance so that we are prepared? I am in the process of getting an SF50 from my job and documents from the bank. Should I get anything else? And what about my fianc e? Thank you in advance.

We filed for my wife via mail for the reduced fee using the General Provision (5 year rule) since we waited long enough, though she was eligible after 3 years.

No notice yet, but tracking shows the package was received by at the USCIS lockbox on 10/4/24. I'm in the Dallas area.
