US Immigration from Peru

Hi all, I am going to need a financial sponsor to support my visa applications for my wife and stepdaughter. My father is willing to sponsor them and his finances are more than adequate, but I have a question about his age. My father is 84 years old. Does anyone know if age is a factor in judging the acceptability of a financial sponsor? Since he would be assuming responsibility for them for many years, I'm wondering if his age might be grounds for disqualifying him as a sponsor. I also have a close friend who is the same age as me (50) who would probably be willing to be a sponsor, but my preference would be to use my father. Any thoughts?

Can anyone tell me what kind of information (and in what format) should be included in this part of the I-130 application?

I am peruvian/american citizen in Lima. I live here with my peruvian husband and peruvian/American daughter.

I m planning to move back to US, as soon as possible in the next few months. My husband has American tourist visa.

I made some research about both forms. I l understand I can file i130 online, but i485 must be sent by mail.

Since we are here and I want to start the process asap to make it faster, what should I do? Submit i130 online, and mail i485 almost at the same time? We should wait here for approval? Should I send both and move to US and wait there?

Us embassy in Lima is not working at all, they are just useless and appointments they are giving are insane.

whats my best option to get his paperwork asap?

does anyone have information on interviews for immediate family members for the i130, we were DQ'd April 6th but from our understanding with the shut down of the embassy and the government issues their only doing a few interviews. we tried emailing the embassy for a ball park time frame but it's a auto no reply response. Just want to get some kind of time frame as to when interview may occur. Any peru i130's out there ?

My husband and I married in March 2020 and filed the I-130 petition back in October 2020. However, we have yet to see any movement on the case and we do not want to have to wait any longer to live together.

Is it possible for him to move to the US prior to the I-130 approval, or is there a separate application we can fill out in order for him to move here faster?
