CD account for I-134

Hi! We are currently filling out the I-134. I'm over the 100% for the K1 threshold but a bit under the 125% for AOS for two people, and I have quite a bit in savings.

I have a CD joint account with my mother. Would they even accept it if it includes another person's name without getting the other person involved? The only reason I don't want to list it is because I don't want to get my mom involved and I hope I should qualify to be the sole sponsor with my income and savings.

Also, has anyone done the interview without the employer letter?

Thank you for your help!

Request for initial evidence

So my husband and I have just received request for initial evidence today (intent to marry was bona fide). First question is can/should we upload that online over the USCIS account or mail it? In the notice states "Please submit your response by mail" but I've also seen you can respond to it on the account so I'm little bit confused. Second question I have is, what exactly should we upload/send as evidence? When filing the I130 petition, we have also uploaded proof of jointly held account as well as house deed. That's technically all we have besides pictures together, my plane ticket, stamps in my passport (I'm currently visiting my husband in the states). They are actually asking for the same documents we already uploaded when filing. Any help is appreciated, thank you

Missing vaccinations I-693

I couldn t find the answer in any previous posts but this is our situation: My spouse did his medical 5 weeks ago and then entered the US on his approved K1 visa. Everything with the medical checked out, however due to the covid situation we were unable to get 2 vaccinations (tetanus booster and influenza) and his DS-3025 form does not have the complete box checked on the bottom. When we ask civil surgeons here in the US to administer the vaccines they are unwilling to fill out I-693 without doing a full new medical from start to finish which he already got 5 weeks ago. This feels like doctors trying to make extra money to us.. Are we doing something wrong? Is there a way around this or do we have to suck it up and just get a new medical done at $xxxx? Or do we just not send in the I-693 and simply send a copy of DS-3025 along with proof of the newly administered vaccinations?

Thank you

ROC and N400 combo movement info (February 2019-2020)

Hi guys!

I just wanted to share a glimpse of hope with you.

Our ROC (SRC) was moved from Texas SC to Lee's Summit in April of 2020 (that's 14 months from sending the paperwork). Luckily, we caught movement on the old site (but did not receive notification by snailmail as we were supposed to). That movement didn t reflect our USCIC account

In fact, there were conflicting information on them. The old site stated that our ROC was transferred and a new office has jurisdiction, while the new site still showed a note saying we have received your case and you don t have to do anything at this time.

We sent out email inquiry to www.uscis.gov/e-request about our missing notification and waited a month (as suggested by their generic response). After waiting a month and a half and no information, I gave them a call and I was told they will send the notification by mail.

We finally got notification in the mail in July.

Since my citizenship window opened 02/2020 I applied for citizenship on-line in February of 2020.

In October I was given a date and time for my citizenship interview with ROC still pending.

My citizenship interview is scheduled for 11/02 and I was going nutz thinking about my pending ROC.

Yesterday, 5 days before my interview, I have received a call from the USCIS (a real person not a recording) reminding me of my interview and informing me that in order to get to the citizenship part of the interview my husband should accompany me to the interview because I have 751 pending and that needed to be adjudicated first.

I hope all of you immigration warriors will start moving with your process as well!!! I am keeping fingers crossed for all of us....

Happy Thursday

Hi There,

This is in regards to my I485 petition. I had to reschedule the biometrics appointment because I could not make it on time and date initially suggested by USCIS. I send back the I-797C with request to reschedule. The initial appointment was set up for 8/14/20 but I still haven't heard back with the new appointment time and date. Any suggestions on what I should do? I tried calling but it's impossible to get a human person on the phone. Thanks!
