  1. USCIS agent called me back and said the holdup with CBP is likely because this beneficiary previously broke parole. My beneficiary was previously paroled into the United States through U4U but had to leave after 3 months to attend to her dying mother. We applied for travel authorization (advanced parole) but it wasn't processed in time, denial came 1.5 years later. We didn't know about the opportunity to apply for emergency advanced parole which has a much quicker response time. USCIS agent said that the good thing is that she didn't receive a denial from CBP yet. But gave no timetable on when we can expect an answer to be given.
  2. Is there a recommendation on this forum on how to go about this? Should I call? Send an email? Both?
  3. I've been calling USCIS and CBP. Are you saying I should get a lawyer involved? Or a congressman?
  4. I'm thinking our travel authorization is delayed because this individual left USA back to Ukraine while on Parole without receiving prior travel authorization. 😢
  5. Anybody been given travel authorization a second time after leaving USA?
  6. How long does it usually take for Travel Group members to receive travel authorization? Travel group leader received his Travel authorization 2 weeks ago. Still waiting on the wife's Travel authorization. These never took longer than 5 days. I contacted USCIS and they weren't much help. Just told me to wait. At least 30 days. The Travel group member who is still waiting on her authorization is a Ukrainian citizen and already had a USCIS account. When she tried to add a case via a receipt number it said it was already linked to a uscis account. So that's why I added her as a Travel group member and we completed her attestation that way. Why would this case be stuck at CBP while the travel group leader was approved so quickly? I wonder if this is because she had previously traveled to USA under U4U.
  7. To add, this is the 2nd time the wife (Ukrainian citizen) is applying for the U4U program. She was previously admitted 1.5 years ago but had to return home 3 months later.
  8. How long does it take for travel group members to get travel authorization approval? The wife of the main beneficiary is still waiting for hers after the husband received his on March 14, 2024 in the Notices tab. Will there be a second authorization document attached under the Notices tab?
  9. Took just under 1 month. Just received NOA2 today. Sorry in advance, I know this has been mentioned before, but if a wife and husband are traveling together, do they have to submit one application via the USCIS website, or 2? Do they both need to make USCIS accounts? TIA
  10. When should it be filed. Is there a guide on this forum I can reference? Never mind, I guess I should have google'd first. The instructions on the USCIS website are pretty clear. https://www.uscis.gov/i-751
  11. Hi! Is it necessary to re-new the green card of a K1 visa holder (still married)? It expires after 2 years and can only apply for naturalization after 3 years.
  12. How long is the current processing time from NOA to approval for I-134A for U4U program?
  13. If the beneficiary who was granted parole and is already in the US wishes to travel outside the US and come back do they have to file form I-131? About how long does form I-131 take?
  14. EDIT: Never mind. This USCIS page has the info. Can we file form I-765 online? Have to list eligibility category to file online and one of them is "Temporary Protected Status Granted/Pending". After coming to US under the Uniting for Ukraine program does the beneficiary have to file form I-821 (TPS)? Also, can the beneficiary get a waiver for the $410 application fee?
