Timeline

Hi all i am new on here,,

i want all you people to let me as much as u know about this coz this will help me to solve my problem

well my husband petition was approved on June-15 2007, after that NVC center send me some papers to complete + fee etc i do completed the form and submitted fee etc now they send I-864 form to completion.

Problem is that i am not working since 6 month becuase God bless me beautiful daughter and before marriage i was student in high school.

some one told me that u need a joint sponsor for your husband. my uncle is ready to give my husband AOS

can you guyz tell me how long we can have our petition I-130 pending after its approval? becuase 4-month passed from its approval.

What if i only persu the k3 visa,,???

your kind suggestion would be highly appreciated

An approved I-130 is good for a year. I would definitely pursue that path instead of the K3. As long as your uncle makes enough money or has enough assets and is a USC in the states, it's fine for him to be the joint sponsor. You still fill out a I-864 as the main sponsor and he would fill out a second I-864 as the joint sponsor.

US Immigration Timeline

-------------------------

24 Feb 2007 - Sent I-130 to London USCIS office (I'm the petitioner)

25 May 2007 - NOA2

2 June 2007 - Received Packet 3

12 Oct 2007 - Sent Packet 3 back by special delivery

5 Nov 2007 - Interview in London - Approved without any hitches!

7 Nov 2007 - Visa and MBE arrived by SMS! :)

30 Jan 2008 - Fly to Michigan!! :)

*Note: Any delays in our case are only due to us taking things slowly

You still need to sign the from for affidavit of support. Both you and your Uncle. If you meet the requirements for the Poverty Guidelines then there would be no problem. Goodluck!
