:help: I filled my AOS with my EAD to Chicago during the end of August 2005.

I got the Biometrics for my EAD soon after that but never received my Biometrics for my AOS.

I got my EAD card at the end of October.

I see on this board most people get their biometrics for their EAD & AOS pretty close together.

And as of now February, I still haven't received or heard anything from my AOS, and I still haven't had my biometrics done for AOS. Is this normal? Please give me some suggestions on what I should do.

It all depends on your local office, if they are still processing AOS applicants from 2004 or early 2005 they might not give you a fingerprinting appt. until you are closer to getting an appointment for your AOS. Look up your local USCIS office and see the processing times.

I sent in my AOS in July 05 and had biometrics in Sep 2005. I sent in my EAD in Nov 2005 and had biometrics for that in Dec 05. Some people don't even get their biometrics for their AOS before their interview! I wouldn't worry if I were you!
