Hi everyone!! My fiancee has her interview Friday, January 4 and I will be returning to be there with her. We will take care of all the matters and leave @ 10 days after the interview to be together in our new life. I can Just simply purchase an one way ticket online for her?Is there anything I need to know in regards to the k-1 and buying a ticket? Thanks for your answers in advance. I Wish everyone to be blessed in their Journeys and Good luck to all!!

I suggest you to just buy tickets when the Visa is approved.. Also its cheaper to buy it in the Philippines..

Its kinda risky buying plane ticket right now..

IR-1 Visa for Wife

NVC Case Complete = January 2, 2008

Received Packet 4 here in the US (Interview Packet) = January 18, 2008

Case Left NVC Forwarded to USEM Manila = January 23, 2008

SLEC Medical = Jan 31 and Feb 1, 2008 (2 days)

USEM Manila Interview = February 20, 2008 @ 8:30am = DONE! (Status: 2 Months wait is over APPROVED)

CFO Guidance & Counseling = April 17, 2008

Visa in Hand = April 18, 2008 (Our Wedding Anniversary)

Arrival in the US and POE = April 23, 2008 JFK Intl. Airport New York City

Social Security Card = May 2, 2008

Green Card in Hand = August 18,2008

IF you decide to buy her a ticket for the interview, spend the extra and get one that's refundable just in case there is a problem that would cause AR.

What Service Center was filed at? Nebraska transferred to California

You should wait until her visa is approve to by the ticket. Philippines Airlines sometime give a discount for fiancee ticket one way for the first time. You would have to go thru an agent here. I suggest that you check price out on both sides. That way you will fine the deal. You might want to get is asian or filipino newspaper to fine some agents. Good luck. Do not forget she need to go to the CFO semair also before she leaves the Philippines.

Jun. 6, 2008 Finally got Visa at about VISA[/size]

Aug. 05, 2008 On a jet plane head for the Philippines to get my family

Aug. 06, , 2008 we are together again

AUGUST 19, 2008 POE Seattle, WA.

NOV. 8, 2008 Wedding
