Interview failed, got the blue :crying:

I am really sorry to hear your news.

One of my friends got also a blue slip on his interview 11/21/07.

He went to the Consulate week after and provided some more pic. he recently took with his wife.

They let him waited for almost 4 hours and suddently they called up his name and gave him a pink slip.

I hope this experience can be a little help for you.

Good Luck!

So what can I do, on the paper it says that a reciept from the travel agency is no good,

Just wow! Even a receipt from the travel agency is deemed invalid?? Now what happens if you had paid for the tickets in cash? This is unbeliavable. They're sure getting more picky with the evidences each time. Is this the only reason for the blue slip?

As NeverSeen said, I'd be on the phone as soon as possible trying to get a statement mailed to me from the credit card company. If you don't remember the account number, you could pull your credit report and get it from there. The CC company should be able to provide you this information.

If I were you, I would try to get those copies...but if you can't, write out a letter explaining why you don't have them and that the proof from the second two trips should be suffice enough, sign, notorize and fedex it to her ASAP, have her bring it in for review, I'm sure they'll reconsider their decision.

Sorry to hear you got bue. IMHO, if you want to see that pink slip, you are going to need to show up at the Embassy yourself to disprove their accusation of fraud. It seems to me that they took the time to look at all your photos and phone records, so they KNOW you know each other and do have a 'relationship' together. I think the sticking point is that due to your lack of receipts for your first two plane flights, it might appear to the CO as if you 'met' under more mysterious/nefarious means. Since the CO's operate under the opposite of our legal system (everyone is guilty of fraud and must prove themselves innocent), your missing tickets give them enough reason to 'hold' your case indefinitely. The question becomes how do you get them to change their mind? Will the receipts be enough or is the doubt already placed in their mind? I know a lot of people will tell you to keep calling the embassy, or to contact your congressman, BUT I'd tell you to get those receipts, send to the embassy and contact attorney Mark Ellis, in HCMC to help with your case until you can get there. It's gonna cost you some money, but its a lot better than waiting for over a year for a response.

TRUST me... just look at my timeline to see how long you can wait for...

I wish you nothing but the best in luck in getting the VISA

Omg sorry to hear that (F) I was hoping that your SO was approved when I started reading from the beginning and now this :crying: These things are now really getting to me as I have the interview in a couple of days myself. Hope they accept your explanation. Is there a chance that you can fly over there to be there with her? (F)(F)(F)
