Hello,

Because most everyone from May already have P3. (I say "most", I know not all). Some already have interview date. :D

But we are dealing with , maybe the busiest Embassy/Consulate in the world. So we are in for more waiting.

This is Ok! She is worth the wait.

All of my May buddies helped to pass the time. But know they will move on.

So I want to start a new thread for Guangzhou. If there is not already one.

I guess you will get p3 from Guangzhou consulate in Jan ,2008 if it goes as usually.

good luck to you !

Yes, maybe late January P3 and a March or April interview. More likely an April interview.

Thanks!

That is about the time I have estimated also. We are preparing and organizing all of our evidence.

It would be nice to have here interview over by her Birthday (March 22). But I d not see that happening.

Will be nice to have interview over anytime! :P

Hello Everyone,

I'm a May filer also and on Dec. 12th I called the Consulate to see if the paperwork from the NVC had arrived yet ( by the way, you have to purhase time to speak to someone at the consulate I think it was 54 rmb for $12) and they are not showing it in their system yet. I was told to try back after 2 months of the sent date of the NVC which would be around mid Jan. Hope any of this info helps.

The operators at that number are not trained, don't work for the Consulate and are in Shanghai working for a hired service. If you want up to date information, call DOS visa information line in DC.

Keep your pin number and minutes available in case you need to call for an overcome appointment. That's all that service is really good for.

I have called that number before.

The lady was not very friendly. And told me to call back next year! <_<

Now, I know it will be next year> :P

But her tone was awful.

So I have found DOS to be more useful. But still not always friendly.

Good luck everyone!

Hi everyone! Wow I am glad to hear a May Filer who already gotten their P3. I was expecting my fiancee to receive it in late January but now I am hoping with some luck to see our P3 in early January. Even though it is only a couple of week difference from my previous expectation, as you all know, this wait is almost unbearable so anything that shortens this wait is more than welcomed.

We, going thru the Guangzhou, have to wait the longest. Many other people who filed at the same times as us but for their fiancee in other countries have mostly gotten their interview dates or are already together with their SO.

No use in whining, waiting is what me must do and the only thing we can do.

Hope to see more people receiving their P3!

I forward a copy of the I-129F to my fiancee in China but just realized that I did not send the passport photo that was on my G-325.

I had gotten the picture from Costco and it came with two photos. I used one on the G-325 and the other

I used to get a visa to go to China.

What should I do?
