changing jobs during the AOS

ok we are in the middle of AOS, we have his appointment for biometrics which are this week. but as his supporter can i change my job before we are completely through the AOS?....will it affect our affidavit of support. i would be making more money at this new job but i dont want to take it if our AOS could be disrupted....if i did take it, what would be the steps in advising USCIS of my career change, would i have to let them know?....would this be a bad idea to take the new job?

I got a new job in the middle of the process, about a month before the interview. All I did was update the form and take with me an employer letter. Had no issues.

The adjudicator will ask you during the interview if anything on the AOS form had changed since you sent it in (at least, this happened to us) -- this is when you produce the new information.
