Hey this may be a stupid question but is the 455.00 uscis fee receipt they send u in the mail... is that an NOA 1?

Also, how do I look online and check to see if my case has been "touched"? I sent in my I-129f packet on the 1st of Nov., they received it the 2nd of Nov., and cashed and sent out the receipt on Nov. 9th.

Thanks!

Yes, the letter "Notice of Action" is your NOA1 as this is your first Notice.

Yes, that is your NOA1, also known as the I-797, Notice Of Action. If you look at that notice, you should see your Receipt Number. It should start out with WACxxxxxxxxxx, where x is a 10 digit number. You will need to visit the USCIS Online Website to register and then enter your receipt number into a Portfolio and you will be able to follow-up on your case. Here is the URL:

Good Luck!

After you'd gotten everything all squared away, you can start working on your time line for your signature. This will give other people some ideas where you stand in case you need help along the way. Good luck.
