Hey All,

I'm being pre-emptive as usual,

I was reviewing "All" the items that the beneficiary has to have for the K1 VISA interview,

I know about the Evidence of Financial Support : I-134 ( Affadavit of Support ), and that I will be notified by the NVC,

BUT, what is the " Evidence of Engagement to Your Fiancé(e)" ???

Is it basically a "US citizen Intent to marry statement with in 90 days of admission to US. (signed & dated)" ???

Should I create a newer "Intent to Marry " letter dated closer to the Interview date ??

My fiance has a copy of the "whole" !-129F petition,

Thanks for the Help ahead of time

Hi MIDUVIL,

Evidence of engagement can take many forms including, but not limited to, receipt for engagement ring, pictures of the ring and/or your fiancee wearing the engagement ring or pictures or engagement party. It also includes the letter of intent to marry...

Yes, you both need to write a new letter of intent to marry.

Pete and I were just approved. Although most embassy's will ask different questions (all they wanted of Pete was his affadavit of support and his birth certificate)..asked him how we have kept in touch and how many times he's been here. THAT'S IT!

I sent a copy of the receipt for the ring (he purchased it over here), also pictures of us together over the past few years, copies of telephone bills, emails, cards and letters. If you follow the VJ K-1 Visa Guide under the Guides section, you can't go wrong ;)

Best of Luck to you!
