For That Special Someone

We started this whole thing so innocent and so juvenile, stopping to chat ever so often. However, after a while our hearts warmed to each other, and feelings developed. It has been three years now, and I never regret a moment. However, the government seems to want to keep us apart. This same government who paycheck after paycheck always takes from, has not one ounce of compassion. All I have ever wanted in my life is a family, and I found this in your arms. Now this government who seems to want everyone to think they are so compassionate is pointing finger and saying No. Everyday I work developing technology to increase the power and protective ability of this government, for a meager pay. This government cant feel the pain that each pulse beat just strengthens and strengthens, you cant see my heart which is breaking into a million peaces. Where are you government of America when I am in the shadows yelling for God to take my last breath, where the hell are you. I have worked hard all of my life and I am an engineering honor student but that means ###### to you. You claim to be the greatest country but your compassion is not for your citizens, your compassion is for the oil and gold of the world. Cant you see, cant you open your eyes Oh great government of America. For too long your heart has been cold, uncaring forcing families to live apart. When you give immunity to terrorist but deny families to be together where is your reasoning, where is your intelligence.

Now tell me, how I will stop this what I feel. How can I catch my breath when every second my heart is broken over and over again. I know you will say it is not your concern, it is not your responsibility.
