I'm so upset. I called NVC and they told me that they had reviewed my DS-230 but they sent me a checklist saying they are missing police certificate for my husband. In Albania they get a certificate from the District Attorney and District Court, there is no such thing as police certificate. Everyone I have asked has done the same thing. It says it even on the NVC website. My friend sent the same exact documents same time as me and her case was completed. So I tried to explain it to them and the girl goes "yes, you are right, you don't need one but the case was given to a superviser for review and that takes 5-15 days" Can you believe this??????? For a mistake they made I have to wait 3 more weeks and this way delay interview :(

Has this happened to anyone before???

Apparently there is nothing I can do but I just wanted to write here just in case someone has gotten a police certificate from Albania, if they exist and also because I'm really upset and just wanted to let it out.

thanks :)

Ty nuk te kam zemer, te kam shpirt, se zemra vdes nje dite por shpirti s'vdes kurre.
