she received packet 4 today!

2-22-08 - I-485 rev'd

2-27-08 - NOA1

3-17-09 - Transferred to Cali.

4-12-08 - Biometrics

4-22-08 - Touch

4-28-08 - EAD received.

...waiting...

3-04-09 - Had to renew the EAD :(

3-04-09 - Got annoyed at being outside of the processing window

3-04-09 - Called and they confirmed. Will contact me within 45 days.

3-05-09 - Date on the EAD NOA1

3-12-09 - Received a confirmation email that I am outside of the window and will get a decision in 60 days.

3-12-09 - TOUCH!!!

3-27-09 - Touch!

5-09-09 - Randomly received the renewed EAD Card... w/ wrong A# :(.

Yup. It has a couple more forms in it, about vaccines, about the exam, about the vise fees, about the interview and about how to order everything, and of course the letter.

Yup. It has a couple more forms in it, about vaccines, about the exam, about the vise fees, about the interview and about how to order everything, and of course the letter.

Thanks for the info :thumbs: We'll probably receive our Packet 4 sometime the end of next month.

WOOOHOOOOO!!!

Tram and I were going through all our paperwork to get her prepared for the interview when ever it comes. She told me she hand delivered the packet 3 to the consulate, but i found a mail reciept for it that she kept. She explained they would not accept it and they told her to mail it. Apon hearing this news i had her promptly call the consulate to confirm they received it and to ask if they have an interview date for her yet...

They did!! They say they received the packet 3 and sent her the packet 4 (have not seen it, but we will go bug the guys at the consulate tomorrow about it) and they have given her an interview date of December 10th!

Baring no delays she will be here for Christmas! This has been our goal all along! Wooohooo!!!

If you don't remove the flag prior to her interview, the chance that she would be here for Christmas is nada....

GossipSaigon is referring to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam's flag showing up on your profile. Perhaphs, he's insinuating that the consulate officers in Saigon only approve Visa for those who denounce SRV. There may be some truth to that, but I wouldn't worry abou the flag showing up here.

Congratulations and Keep the flag. Officially and Internationally speaking, this is the ONLY flag is recognized by the UN. You don't want to piss off the Vietnamese Govt. there either when your wife is still over there... :thumbs:

Ok, all jokes aside, i'm pretty sure what Gossipsaigon was only kidding... flag or no-flag will NOT determine your wife's interview outcome!
