Diana,

A DAS is only for the beneficiary. You as the petioner and US citizen, do not need it.

My opinion is the Consul Officer did not see enough evidence of a on going relationship and

perhaps your Fiance did not answer the questions the way that they liked, or did not know answers to there questions  .

Read this thread, Have as many pictures as possible, plane receipts, proof of money you send him or he sends you. Phone cards, email print outs

anything that can prove and show you have a relationship. This Colommbia Club has great advice and over 183 pages to read and see what works for others at the Interview.. Keep the faith and go to the interview with him prepares with all of tha above and you will get approved.

Good Luck and Keep the faith !!!

1. Carta del Das is only for the beneficiary. Did your fiancée have his with him when he went for his interview? Maybe that's what the CO was asking for and he misunderstood.

2. If the CO wants you to go with him next time it's because he wants to make sure you have a legit relationship. Make sure you take all evidence with you that day, pictures, letters, e-mails, calling cards if you have them, chats, boarding passes, etc. Because they will ask to see all of this and will take their time reviewing it.
