Hi everyone,

I am new here and I am in the process of learning the application process.

I just began to file for 130&485 and I stumbled upon this site. Great resources and now I am using the step by step guide in this site. I have read much as I can but I still have few uncertain areas that I need answers to.

On the step by step guide on how to file i-130 for a spouse inside the us; number 7 states that a copy of the intending immigrant’s birth certificate “and/or” passport. What does it mean and/or? Do I need both or its either one or the other? And where can I get the passport translated?

Number 11 states all 4 pages of g-325A? What 4 pages? I only see 2 forms per document.

For 485 where can I get the list of doctors for the medical checks? It states it will be send to me but where can I contact to have that done?

I also heard I can file the 130 and 485 at the same time, is that true?

Please help me clear this out for me.

Thanks

I'll answer what I can.

Number 11 states all 4 pages of g-325A? What 4 pages? I only see 2 forms per document.

The G-325A is a 4-page form, but it's really just 4 copies of the same form. If you got a pre-printed version and it's printed front-and-back, then you will have 4 forms on 2 sheets. If you fill it out online (see here), just fill one form out and it should fill the other 3 out for you.

For 485 where can I get the list of doctors for the medical checks? It states it will be send to me but where can I contact to have that done?

Look over there.

I also heard I can file the 130 and 485 at the same time, is that true?

Yes, see the instructions to form I-130, page 3.
