George Lucas planning 'Star Wars' TV series

I used to play SW RPG and it was awesome just going into the SW world without all the big JEDI stuff. A series focusing more on small characters and how the world works outside of the Jedi/Empire war would be cool to see, of course I am a fan so I just want to see more stuff.

I love the big jedi stuff, but I was saying it was fun playing in a simpler world as well, I mean, we played as smugglers, and it was fun running into the Empire as simple outlaws and not as the most wanted in the universe. We've seen the whole Jedi story so it'll be fun seeing smaller stories as well (I didn't read the books, 'cus they aren't really Lucas's, so it'd be fun to see his take on other stories).

never seen any of the star wars...I tried watching the star wars family guy a few weeks ago and I was lost cos I didn't get any of the jokes. btw I was having one hell of a time typing a reply to this and couldn't figure out ####### was going on...my pot of yogurt was sitting on my touch pad and everytime I pushed a button it would move like I had my hand on the mouse lol

It's going to be a pile if sh!te, does anyyone remember that silly Ewok Adventure series a decade or so ago? Plus George Lucas has lost the plot; the ego has landed!

still p!ssed off that the new Indiana Jones movie is called Kingdom of the Crystal Skull...#######????

His cartoon series, Clone Wars, is really well done - I believe he has a hands-off approach to it. If he can gather up some decent writers and a good director for a live action TV show, I think it will have great potential. I'm hoping at least.

Genndy Tartakovsky (of Samurai Jack) did that. It was very good.

There's been some pretty decent SW efforts done by other people - it would definitely be the way to go with something like this.

The two Knights of the Old Republic games for the Xbox were exceptionally well-scripted. Better actually than the movies.
