Timeline

hello to all, i am new here but have a quesion or 2. i Sent in my I-129f on oct 2nd to the service center in cali. Laaguna i think, aand have yet to hear a thing, i checked the website and from what it looks like it will take aabou 6 months or so to have them look at it. is this correct or am i just being paranoid. i will be grateful for any help given.

sent in paperwork on oct 2007.

im 23, shes 21, cant wait to start new life in central illinois.

The process certainly has slowed down over the past months and the agency admits a large backlog. You can take a look at the Immigration Timelines link at the top of the page, there are some stats that may help. Good luck :thumbs:

im in the same boat..i sent it out on sept 19 and its been a month and i havent heard anything.....some people gave me this link...it helped a lot..u can call the California Service center too..thats were i filled mines too..they said to wait 90 days. after 90 days and u havent heard anything to call them back...check this site out for more info...hope it helps :D

NVC:

12-09-2010 NVC receives case

12-10-2010 attained NVC case# & IIN. PAID AOS FEES. emailed request for expedite & choice of agent

12-13-2010 AOS PAID

12-16-2010 received email granting the expedite request

12-17-2010 NVC sent case to US Embassy in Manila. SIGN IN FAILED! CASE COMPLETE!

NVC - 8 DAYS

CONSULATE:

12-17-2010 Consulate receives case (electronically)

01-03-04-2011 Medical @ St. Luke PASSED

01-11-2011 Original interview that was rescheduled to:

01-27-2011 INTERVIEW- VISA APPROVED!

02-02-2011 Received Visa in the mail!

02-04-2011 CFO Seminar

02-09-2011 I arrived in the Philippines

02-16-2011 POE @SFO -<3

late february- received Green Card

03-15-2011 Received SSN

Have you checked if your check has been cleared? If so, you can still get the receipt number to create an online account to find out your case status.

Are you at the October Filers' thread? You should join it if you are not there. Seems most people there have received their NOA1 in the mail already. We received our hardcopy on the 22nd while we mailed out on the 12th of oct.

2/6/2009 - Transfer notice hardcopy received (on this notice it says receipt date was 1/21/09.. but we never receive any receipt for AOS/EAD/AP)

3/27/2009 - Received AP

3/30/2009 - Received EAD

4/21/2009 - I485 is approved.

4/27/2009 - received Greencard
