Capt Ewok,

I probably should have responded to Thai's questions with courteous regardless of how many times we as a community asking him do not referring to his fiance/wife as a B. I feel as if I speak the same language as Thais has been, it may get the message accross! May be it did, may be not!

Just because someone chooses to refer to their spouse as a B***** , even if you think this is wrong... why then use the same reference when you are replying to a post?

ok. I am so sorry all.

Here is the situation now.

I have my marriage license signed by a priest. we said yes yes and all the sh t that needed to done. There are 3 sections on that marriage license, the priest ripped them off. 1 section belong to him for the record, the other was mailed to city hall, the biggest section, with our names and the priest name+ signature is our. he told me that's our original marriage cert , we can use that to do whatever that will prove that we're married legally.

I'm filing out all the AOS form now and will make a copy of original marriage cert and send it along with the application, u think that's ok ?

One more thing, her I-94 form will expire on Nov 12th, 2007. do I need to file for AOS before that day ?

Thank you All

You still need to take that part of the license to the place where it was issued.... they will them make you certified copies with a raised seal on it... that is your marriage certificate.... you then send a photocopy of that to USCIS along with your AOS packet....

No you do not need to file before the I-94 expires....

To clarify:

Marriage Certification copy is what your Priest gave you to keep and to mail in City Hall

Certified Copy of your Marriage Certification: issued and certified by Cith Hall Vital Record Lawyer, this will cost you upto $25/copy. Must call City Hall to ask for it and pay for it.

I hope that "my b" means "my bride", but somehow I don't get the feeling that's what you mean. You musta got a raise if it's your treat.

Good luck to your new beginning.
