U know what? That's terrible!!!!! Your petitioner just let you come here for what  ? Not sure to marry you and just playin' your feelings  ? I am filipina too and it hurts me that SOME american is irresponsible.

Hope you will be fine and do something not to overstay here or else u will be catch. Don't think of going to be an illegal allien coz..who knows???????? you still get many chance to come here again.

Goodluck and God bless you!!! (L)

Did I miss something??? Nobody said it was the american citizen's fault... maybe it just didn't work out or something... we don't know what happened, I really don't think we can blame anyone.

LOL no kidding. If one wants to look at the statistics and play the odds...it's far more likely the the filipina "discovered" that they were incompatible once she got to the U.S. Happens all the time...that's why Manila is such a PITA to get through for the visa.

True..... but I don't want to put anyone down..... that's not what it's about. I just think that marzjc56 was a little too careless on her coment.

I can't think of a reason why an USC would bring someone to the US if marriage wasn't in his plans.

Still, I don't know what happened so I won't assume it was the foreign fiance either.... like I said before, maybe it just didn't work out...... for real. hehe

The K1 visa is a once only visa, you must either get married or leave the USA, if you decide to stay without getting married then you would be illegal. Over staying with this visa or any visa is not advisable as it would not look good on any other visa you might apply for. If for some reason it is not working out between the USC and the spouse then it is best to call it quits and go back to your home.

mizz,

Nor is anyone from the government going to prevent you from leaving. Of course you can leave on the 91st day. Or the 92nd, the 93rd .....

Yodrak

how long does the fiance can stay in the usa? i know it is 90 days allowed.what happened if the ex-fiance over stayed in the usa? is it allowable if the ex-fiance leave the usa on the 91th day?

What do you mean by allowable? After 90 days you would be considered out of status and would be here illegally. But no one is going to come knocking on your door looking for you.
