I'm living in China now with my boyfriend. I will move back to the US in December and start a new job at the beginning of January. I was planning to file the I-129 form for us when I return to the States. But after reading about the many months people had to wait to get an interview in China, I feel like the sooner I file the better. I don't want to have to spend so much time apart from him.

Before I moved to China, I changed my residence to my parents address. My question is: Can I prepare everything I need now, mail it to my parents and then have them mail everything to the visa processing center? Will this cause any problems in the future?

Thanks for any advice.
