I have my interview on Tuesday October 10, 2007. We are driving and just wondering if anyone knows if there is close parking to the consulate? All of the reviews I've read it seems that everyone has stayed at hotels and walked. Thanks.

I know there is a parking lot just up the street from the Consulate on Rue St. Alexandre. We parked a bit up from that (neither of us can remember the street name - it could be in my Montreal review though..) but there are parking lots in the area of the consulate (for a fee of course - we recall around 20-30$ for the day). We took a car and just got near the area and parked where we could find parking! Should not be a problem!

When you get approved (only two more days to go ), please let us know about your experience at the consulate and, of course, the parking situation. I too was thinking of driving up the 401 and autoroute for the interview and then returning the same day.
