hi guys. i wrote earlier asking about this but somehow got no response so im going to try this again. I really hope you guys can help me out.

Ive sent out my K1 visa application last march 9. Shortly after that, I have gathered all the necessary documents needed for the I-134 Affidavit of support. My friend was going to go to the philippines to visit his friends so as a favor, i have asked him to bring over a filled out, notarized I-134 form together with supporting documents.

We havent received our NOA2 yet but from the looks of it, i believe it will be received at around june or july. Im hoping it will be sooner but ... CSC is working at such blazing speed... hehe...

Anyways, I have planned a trip to visit my fiance in the philippines this coming May and i was just wondering if i should fill out another I-134 form to update the information on the form (ive added a bit in my savings) and have it notarized again as well as bring more updated statements in support of it. or will the old filled out one be sufficient enough?

not really sure but i was wondering if there is a time frame given for validity of information... please please help...

Thank you!

:)

The I-134 should be completed as close to the interview date as possible, with the latest information. If you are borderline with your income, then you should consider getting a cosponser. Sending your fiancee a form that isn't current probably isn't the best idea. In my opinion, you should wait until your fiancee receives her Packet 3 from the Consulate. Since it's taking almost 6 months to get an interview in Manila, you have plenty of time to wait.
