Hello all,

I would really appreciate it if someone in a similar situation could shed some light in regards to my upcoming situation. My husband and I had our AOS interview this Wed. and we were approved pending name check.

Up until this point in time, we are living 3 hrs away (I am in Dover,DE and he is in northern NJ) from each other because of job committments, however I have been actively applying for positions in his area and I may be accepting something within the next 2 months, and move in with him for good in New Jersey.

My plan to address potential issues in regards to address and income change is to schedule an InfoPass appointment in the Philadelphia office and update our interviewer about the latest developments.

My questions are below; would really appreciate your inputs:

1) I believe that my case would be transferred from Philadelphia to another DO in New Jersey, how will this affect the outcome of my pending FBI name check, if any?

2) Based on similar experiences, will this further delay our I-485 approval once name check clears?

3) When I make an InfoPass appt. to see an officer in the Philadelphia DO, will I be directed to the same officer who interviewed me? If someone else talks to us, how would they know our case history?

The reason I am moving to another state is that I want to be with my husband and live together as we should be. Job prospects are looking positive and I finally have the option of moving now as I have gained valuable experience from my current and first position here which is works to my advantage in seeking new employment.

I do not foresee any concerns should the interviewer require further proof of a bona-fide marriage. We plan to get an apartment and start our life (can't wait :) ) We have been dating since 2000 and trust me, this long-distance relationship kills the soul.

I appreciate and look forward to your suggestions and advice. Thank you very much.

Ther eshould be no problems with moving, just fill in the Change of address card and call the miss-information line to confirm they have right address.
