Long Journey... K1... AR..6 months

I tried many times to post but my pc wont let me. Im just using this pc while I'm here at work.

I have a complicated case. Here's my story :

I filed my petition to him last July 2006. It was approved after a month. Case was seen to USEmbassy for visa issuing last December2006.His first interview was Jan'07 . The interview went very well according to my fiance.But the problem was he did not received on time the Singapore police clearance that he supposed to submit. The Consul told him to bring it as soon as he received it. He was also told to pay the visa fee and leave his passport. He complied.

After 3 weeks he went back to the USEmbassy and took the clearance. He was told that he will be notified if they need more information. Another after 2 weeks he received a call from them for another interview. He went for 2nd interview as instructed. To make my story short... his case was put under administrative review because they received a complaint against him stating that he fathered a child. This is an untruth. There are certain mean-spirited individuals who rely on destructive behavior and would like to project their own self loathing on to others. My family is strongly disapprove of this marriage to happen and behaved quite hatefully toward me and my fiance.

So our case is still under administrative review for almost 6 months now. I did everything that i could but i have no answer. What else should I do ? Can someone help me ?

These reviews can take a very long time, sometimes even years. If you are not getting satisfactory information from the embassy maybe contacting your elected representative to assist you might help.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I agree you should be contacting a government representative, especially if it's about fathering a child? The review might be because they believe, or have information that they're investigating, suggesting that he may be in a relationship with someone else when he fathered the child. If he's not the father of the child, perhaps volunteering for a paternity test? Fathering a child does not indicate he was in any relaitonship anyway...that can be done without a relationship as we know! I'd be questioning or getting some information about what this "claim" is, so that you can address it accordingly.
