When I called NVC they said my case was transfered to Manila. I had my wife call USEM to double check. Operators at embassy told her no record of the case.

I called NVC back and they said I'd have to get record on paper USEM didn't have record of the case.

I called USEM next day try and do so and they gave me medical and interview dates!

Ahhhhh! Such fun!

I'm so sad dealing with the BS you have to go thru is almost over! :crying:

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

quite same thing.. NVC requires us (me and my hubby in states) to send another DS230 because the first 1 we filed lack "N/A" in an item. However, im confused that at this time around, NVC is now requiring us to submit required civil docs, marriage cert, etc, and the like. But NVC didn't required it at first, and that they only instructed my hubby/agent thru fone! how's that! i dont know now. what i've heard is that these requirements are asked if u have the packet already, but we dont receive any. me nor my agent.

gee, i really would appreciate help here.. thanks a lot..

NVC or any department within the whole Immigration process, do not take notes when you called or who they talked to everytime you call them for status or updates. Therefore, in your case, I will call NVC or DOS until they supply you with the answers on what happen on your case. The only key thing is patience.

Good luck!

One thing I learned with them, never leave anything blank. If the question does not pertains to you or your spouse, "N/A" or NONE will be the only two possible, sometimes almost the best answer.
