Hi everyone, looking for data points from the community.

Quick background:

  • Form: I-485 (Employment-based, EB-2 NIW)
  • Filed: March, 2026
  • Biometrics: April, 2026
  • Location: NBC (National Benefits Center) → pending transfer to Kendall FO (Miami)
  • No RFE, no ActionRequired, ackedByAdjudicatorAndCms: true

The situation: After biometrics on April, the I-485 had the standard 2x FTA0 events. Then on May 13 (36 days later), a 3rd FTA0 appeared in the internal JSON endpoint with eventDateTime pointing back to April but createdAt on May , suggesting a retroactive background check completion.

The I-765 (filed concurrently) still shows only 3x FTA0 from biometrics day and no movement since.

My questions:

  1. Has anyone seen a 3rd FTA0 appear on their I-485 weeks after biometrics?
  2. Did anything follow shortly after (silent updates, new codes, approval)?
  3. Does this pattern differ from cases without a pending I-589?

Any EB-2 NIW data points welcome, especially NBC but now i can see it was transfered to philadelphia field office but i live in Miami, FL.
