Yes, she did  - the State dept.

Department of State = State Department. Again, NOTHING Is sent to DOS.

It is my mistake, I didn't mean the federal Department of State. The CS office was very vague but I believe they said the state health department.

I believe the CS said state health department like you said. I am in California. I guess it might be state dependent how this works. They said the state will sort everything and make sure that it is in correct order and seal it and send 2 copies, one for me and one for USCIS. So I should have a copy of everything too..but I do wish I could see what they are signing and including in the sealed envelope because I gave them a copy of the panel physician exam from India that I want them to include so they know why we only did a partial i-693.

Ok it's not that unusual - Like I said our CS had to wait for the Colorado State Department of Health to validate that the vaccine had been registered in their database before they could sign and seal her I-693. Each state has different regulations that every physician has to follow regardless of the fact that they are a CS. I would venture that they probably will not include the panel physician exam with your sealed I-693 because their report can only attest to what they did for your husband. I would not worry about that because when you include the copy of your DS-3025 in the I-485 that will prompt them to look for the panel physician's report

Thank you! I feel a lot better knowing I am not alone in this 2 week process happening. Just hoping they get it to me within 2 weeks because we are in a time constraint.

Yeah I know the feeling... We were trying to get ours done before the interview so we didn't get an RFE at the interview! :) Call them at exactly the 2 week mark and ask if it's ready to be picked up

and just the way they worded it was so weird..."you will get 2 copies in 2 weeks. One for the applicant and 1 for your representative" and I was like....so does "representative" mean USCIS??

I think the one for the "Applicant" would be the one for you to file with the AOS and maybe they are assuming you have an Attorney?

I shall find out in 2 weeks...but no we are doing everything ourselves because it is otherwise a straightforward AOS

Well you are on top of what you need to be at this stage (i.e., the polio vaccine issue) so I bet your filing is good to go :) We did ours ourself as well with the help of the good people in this community and we had no rejections, no RFEs and got Jaycel's EAD 51 days after filing and her GC 6 months later. I'm sure you will do well!

Thank you for the kind words! We applied for EAD and for advanced parole cause we want to go on a cruise in November 😆! Definitely we are looking through everything carefully and we are using Suraj and Yasmin's videos on Youtube, in fact we used it from the first step during the i-129F process and we got approved in 7 months for NOA2.
