Living in 2 locations due to work - Lease on work residence - owning Primary residence

Good morning,

 

It is finally that time to remove the conditions on my wife's 2-year Green Card.  In the past 5 months I was promoted in my current job to a location 175 miles away from our primary residence.  To save a 6 hour roundtrip drive daily on top of working the position, we decided to lease a work residence near my new office.  My wife is on that Lease with me, but we also travel back and live at the primary residence 2 to 3 days a week if my work does not extend into a weekend.  Long story short, my wife is not on the Primary residence mortgage as I have not had the opportunity to refinance the house in the past 2 years to add her to the Mortgage or the Title due to the economy.  We did change my mailing address so that I receive mail at the new location, however we did not change my wife's mailing address and she is still receiving her mail at the primary residence.  Our Bank Statements and such have the new mailing address upon them except for one bank account which still shows the primary residence.  

 

Question?  When we fill out the I-751 do we list the primary address or the new work address, which will cease in another 6 months when I fully retire, or list it on the I-751.  Since we go back and forth and she takes classes on-line from a school near the primary address and then attends when in town, should her address be changed with USCIS.  We do live in both places as stated but the primary Address is our home with the mortgage.

 

Do I also need to explain this in a cover letter?

 

Most of our statements as stated go to the work address for ease of dealing with this during the week. 

 

Any assistance would be appreciated.
