US President Donald Trump said that current immigration policies have "wasted the gains of technological progress" and contributed to "weakening the living conditions for many," announcing his intention to implement radical changes to the US immigration system.

This could be a very major issue for folks like us, I look forward to hearing from professionals on how this may affect us.  Of course, so much of what he says is bombast, but as president, it certainly could have a real impact on our cases.   

 

I recall decades ago when a couple of high profile cases of guys killing their foreign spouses (just one or two as I recall) set in motion the IMBRA legislation, which really changed the landscape for us at that time (and still impacts us).  Pretty amazing how one incident can change things for millions of people.
