EB-2 221(g) | Any chance of visa issuance before Oct 1, or will it stay pending until new FY?

I had my EB-2 visa interview in mid-August. At the time, my medical exam wasn’t complete, so the consular officer gave me a 221(g). I’ve since finished the medical, submitted the results, and returned my passport to the consulate.

Now, as of early September, the Department of State has announced that the annual EB-2 visa limit for FY2025 has been reached:

My question is: is there any chance my visa could still be issued before October 1st, or will my case just stay pending until the new fiscal year begins and visa numbers reset?

If anyone has been in a similar situation; especially with a 221(g) that was resolved around the same time the cap was hit; I’d really appreciate hearing how your case turned out.

No, there are no visas available until the new fiscal year.
