Usc who petitioned siblings 20 years ago and now received welcome letter from Nvc this week. My sister original i130 did not have her child at the time, child is now 14 and will not have be registered for processing fee. How do we add derivative child to my sister case ds260 will ask biological children and he will be registered but how will he have his visa at the same time as my sister and spouse?

ive read on other threads about dq date changing but not sure if that would be an issue with this case. Could some one please guide me through this? Greatly appreciated!

You’ll need to add him on CEAC - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition/step-2-begin-nvc-processing/ceac-faqs.html#ceac16

DQ isn’t relevant until you’ve paid fees, uploaded docs etc for all applicants. Only once you’ve done that will you be DQ’ed, and then it will be back to waiting for a visa to ge available.

Good luck.

Thanks for the info.
Is there a way to keep track of when the embassy will schedule interview like the visa bulletin tracker?

It’s Lima in Peru. I’m not sure if the priority date. Can you send me the link?

The link for what?

The Priority Date will be on the receipt, it's essentially the date you applied.

 pd on the i130? 11/21/08

OK, so not current yet. At the moment the wait for an interview in Lima is pretty short (approx 4 months) once a visa is available, but your sister could still be several years away from that, so I wouldn't worry about it now as that may well change between now and then.

Good luck.

I’m having another issue with my brother’s case also. His case was originally set for Columbia embassy a few years back but he has moved back to Peru and from what I know he’s case is at the Nvc under BGt case number set at Columbia, how can I change it? Will this set him back even more years? Can he just interview in Colombia even though he no longer lives there?

He just needs to request a transfer, but it's not really relevant until he's at the interview stage, so he's got plenty of time to sort it. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/national-visa-center/immigrant-visas-processing-general-faqs.html#ivp13
