Hello!

I need some advises about my situation.

My case was approved March 20th,2025 and will expire July 20th,2025. I received NO2 on April 4th,2025. As today, the case is still with USCIS. The case is not transferred yet to NVC. On May 8th, I called USCIS to follow up with the case. I was told to call 60 days after the approval date (March 20th). On May 20th, I called USCIS again and this time I was told to follow up after 90 days from the approval date. On June 20th, I called back USCIS and I was told to follow up after 120 days from the approval date; which will be July 20th (Date my approval notice will expire). On June 18th, I asked my congressman to submit an inquiry on my behalf. I called the congressman office today and I was told that they are still waiting USCIS to reply to back. I am really confused now. The approval notice will expire in few days and this case is still not transferred to NVC. Is there something else that I could have done to get my case moved to NVC? Any advises are welcomed. Thank you.

I am not sure the expiration date on the NOA2 is really meaningful (i.e., it is not like they will contact you and request a new submission/petition).  You may also want to contact your senator(s), and can also try the CIS Ombudsman.

As to other things, what consulate will be dealing with the petition eventually?  This could be USCIS slow walking the petition headed to a particularly busy consulate.

Good Luck!
