Hello everyone! I had an f2a visa sent to Nvc and then the category was changed to f24 because of aging out but when calculating the cspa age it’s well below 21 so I sent an inquiry to Nvc to check for it and they told me that it will be checked and they will let me know once a decision is reached, so if anyone who have passed through this process if you can tell me how much time did they take to reply to this inquiry?

I’m the beneficiary of Principal applicant

Same thing as the derivative on somebody else's I-130.

Generally it doesn't take long for a CPSA decision to be made, but it also may not be made until interview. When is your interview?

The case category on the ceac account is f24 so I can not fill out anything to be scheduled for an interview

So it's the main applicant that they're saying has aged out, not you? Who sent the enquiry - them or you? They won't usually respond to anybody other than the principal applicant.

Can you give us more info - how old is the principal applicant now, what's the Priority Date, what kind of case etc?

Ok

date of birth - september , 10, 2000

priority date - November ,15, 2019

approval date - June, 13, 2025

visa availability at time of approval - June 2022

age now - 24

so I am the prinipal applicant/ beneficiary  and on my ceac account the case is changed to f24 category so because I believe this is a mistake I sent an inquiry to Nvc regarding my cspa applicability.

Ah, ok. Just to confirm when you say 'approval date' you mean the I-130 was approved on that date, not that it was approved earlier and that was your DQ date or anything like that?

If so yes, I agree you should still be F2A. In which case, NVC will hopefully get back to you and change it. It shouldn't be too long.

Good luck.
