i have to do affidavitsin support of waiver

does anyone knows what i have to write?

i know what to write about the extreme of hardship, however i thought that those two are the same....anyone can explain to me what the difference is>?

Olga who told you that you need an affidavit? You need to write a letter proving extreme hardship, with evidence as advised in your other post.

kitkat I hired a lawyer and it is on the list of documents for the I601 waiver.

its number 6 and it says Affidavits in support of waiver..... i am trying to put everything together....

thanx for the reply

Ask your lawyer to sit down with you and explain everything required for the waiver. Affidavits are only necessary if you are going to ask people to write letters in support of your husband, and if those letters support something in your hardship letter.

Otherwise, just think of it as evidence in the form of documentation to back up each and every claim. For example, if you state that you are diagnosed with xxx disease or condition and you require a specific type of medical care and attention in the US, you need a letter from your doctor explaining your diagnosis and treatment -- this is required to support the claim. In this example, you would also want to include medical records, prescription information, as well as proof of your health insurance (which you would lose if you have to relocate to his country if his waiver is denied).
