time from RFE received to approval

recently i have been focusing on RFE received to approval. i been wondering about this myself also. Some may take within 1 month, other 2 months and so on. I have recently found a case that took 4 months. USCIS seems to slow down on giving decision lately. hopefully everyone gets a speedy approval after waiting for a long time.

@smilingstone sure i understand that but i have wait for more than 2 months for responding from them and will have to wait more. my case has been on hold for 5 months. almost half a year. ridiculous. madness. it put a strain on my relationship. almost outside of normal processing time. i dont know if i can continue waiting. For example, see this case below.

 

 

 

not sure if they give out their decision notice to that person yet but waiting that long is ridiculous.

This isn't outside of "normal processing time", as there is no normal in this context. Every situation is different. You gave no details on the nature of your RFE, and my response to your query reflects that. If you want help, you have to help us help you. 

 

If waiting out the K1 approval is putting a strain on your relationship, causing you to consider abandoning then maybe this was never for you. Be warned, once a K1 is on US soil, in between EAD and GC, it will get harder.

Not unusal, sadly. This is why filing the strongest case with all required evidence from the start is so important.
