Question about processing time - islamabad pakistan office - Green Card interview parents

Hi,

 

I applied for my parents green card application now it moved to islambad office in March2025 for further process.

 

can anytime tell me how much usually time taking by Islambad,pakistan office for Interview?  for Green Card visa interview?

Are you sure it’s at Islamabad? It usually doesn’t go to the consulate until an interview has been scheduled. When were they DQ’ed?

NVC approved their application so i thought it will now go to islamabad to process further and will request for interview schedule.

 

Can you please guide me steps what will be usually next step after approved documents from NVC side, how to i check my parents application status further?

Ah, so they’ve been DQ’ed but no interview letter yet? Then their case will be held at NVC until their interview is scheduled, you can check their status on the usual CEAC site but there’s not really anything to check for now. The next steps are on the website I gave you the link to in your previous thread.  
 

It’s just a case of waiting for the letter, Islamabad has a big backlog so it’ll be at least a year, probably nearer two years. You can check timelines on the forum to see how long others have had to wait - please fill in your own timeline too, thx.
