Hello everyone,

I am having a challenging time. My fiancé and I have reached out to the embassy in Dublin for further guidance since it seems that they do their process different than what I’ve seen on the flow chart for the k-1. Our last email from them states “Thank you for your email. Please read all the Fiancée instructions information. When you have all the required documents and wish to continue your visa process, please fill out the Notice of Readiness form with all information, and forward it by PDF attachment.”. Can anyone point me in the right direction of the Notice of Readiness form for the Dublin embassy? Any further guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I think the NOR is attached to the embassy welcome package they sent to you detailing the instructions and such.

Thank you for the response HappyPlace. It turns out it is in the packet. We hadn’t received it til this morning so we were very confused as to what they were asking us to do. We thought they meant to check the portal for the form.

You’re very welcome. I am glad i was able to help. Our case is also processing through the embassy in Ireland. We got sent to DOS on 03/31 and currently waiting for next steps.

If you don’t mind, can you kindly update your timeline or kindly send it as a reply.

I see you got noa2 on 02/27

When was your case sent to DOS, when did you receive your case number and when did it get in transit.
Thank you!

My apologies for the delay. I have updated my timeline.

Hi, I submitted my NOR 6 weeks ago and still haven’t heard back from the Dublin Consulate with interview instructions. Have you submitted yours yet?

Hi Lola,

We haven’t submitted ours yet. We’re planning to send it after the 30th, depending on when we receive the medical packet. The Dublin consulate has been really helpful whenever we’ve reached out via their email system—they even called my fiancé the first time we contacted them. I’d recommend reaching out to them for more information, as they’ve been quite responsive.

By the way, how long did it take for you to get the sealed results after the medical exam? Our validity date is in May, and I’m a bit concerned we might need to request an extension.

Which email address did you use? I’ve tried emailing the DublinIV one but had no response. My fiancé also emailed to ask for any update and request an extension but had no response. Our lawyer did tell us that they will automatically extend the validity date however so that should hopefully be fine.
The medical packet took exactly three weeks, I emailed them after two and they were very apologetic and said they were just waiting on the doctor to sign it off.

I used the google docs from their portal.

 https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSccDF9OLAhgHjcBQcNf5G_mJBobtmP_4tzy8tYHhaAyT7iQww/viewform

which directed me to email for my specific question.

USVisaDublin@state.gov

They ask for the format to be exact in order for them to respond.

They took 3 days max to get back to me and other days I got feedback 2-3 hours after sending them any other questions.

Thanks Rsnmrbl, unfortunately my question isn't covered but I'll try under the "Other Question" heading. Appreciate the help!

That’s what we did. Our questions primarily fell under “Other”. Best of luck, I hope they’re able to give you an official date!
