OK, was just checking you weren't born in India (so your PD wouldn't be current if that were the case). Did you transfer it to London recently or has it always been a London case? Transfers generally add quite a bit of time.

But I really wouldn't worry yet. It's odd if EB applicants DQ'ed in March have been getting IL's (the official tool, updated just today, says they are currently scheduling interviews for those DQ'ed in February - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/iv-wait-times.html) but perhaps they're just an anomaly. Are you sure they're employment based cases, and not family based? Immediate relatives (spouses etc) are given priority over employment applications.

I'm sure it won't be long until you get yours too though.

Good luck.

I really do appreciate your very prompt response. I did not transfer. It’s always been London. I sincerely look forward to its completion. I read earlier on this thread that some DQed in February and march have been invited but must confess don’t really know. Really appreciate all you do.

The point being made is that you obviously are not from the UK so that may be relevant

No. I am also Nigerian and applied via London. I only updated my citizenship to British (which came in after my application) when I went for document review (after medicals and prior to the interview).

could you explain what do you mean by transfers add a bit of time. I transferred in May to London via NVC and I am yet to receive IL. My DQ is 6th of Dec 24

Exactly as I said on a previous post to you, transfer cases take a bit longer. Hopefully not too much longer now (assuming your PD is current of course).

Hi

I have just been approved for my I-140

I live in the US currently on an E2 visa. We wanted to do consular processing so that there are no work gaps changing our status so we have decided to return back tot London to do our medicals and interview.

In you experience is it possible to align the medical and interview dates reasonably close to one another and how long do you think it will take to receive and interview date from the US?

Thank you in advance

You should do the medical close to the interview, about 10-14 days apart is the norm.

How long it will take will depend on when you’re DQ’ed as that’s when you get added to the line.

Please fill your timeline in, thx.
