Hello Everyone,

I entered the US on K1 visa and I got married within 90 days. I am, however, filing for AOS after 90 days from arrival. What should I put in:

a) I-485 part 1 question 27: What is your current immigration status?

b) I-485 part 8 question 17: Have you ever violated the terms or conditions of your non - immigrant status?

Has anyone been in this situation - how did you fill the form? Thank you 🙏

A. Pending adj of status / IR spouse of USC

B. Yes ( but no worries, all gets forgiven no questions asked)

‘Many many before you have been through the same . ..overstays are not counted for IR/immediate relatives of USC.
