Hello everyone,

I'm in the midst of finalizing documents to bring to the K1 visa interview with my fiance. I have some questions regarding some documents.

1) Family tree: how detail should the family tree be? I have Name, Relationship to Fiance/Fiancee, Age or DOB or Year of Birth, Location.

2) Financial Support Document (I-134 form): I'm going to school and working part-time, so my 2023 income barely qualifies at ~$21,880. So I have a joint sponsor in my brother. Do I bring both I-134 (one from me, the other from my brother) to the interview?

Thank you in advance.

Yes, you and your brother would need to each have their own I-134s, with supporting documentation (IRS Tax Return Transcripts, W2s, 1040 Return Forms, Employment Letter). I heard that it is up to the Consular Officer whether or not they will accept a Joint Sponsor or not so I am also a bit stressed out about it as well. Good luck!!
