Dear all, I had my interview April 5th, all went well and I did not need to go back to the embassy but the CO asked me to resubmit my husband divorce document from his previous marriage to CEAC as she could not see it in her system (she saw the original which I took with me). Once they looked at it and print it off, should be all good. I was advised this should take 1-2 weeks but today is Thursday of the 2nd week. I have done this on the same day and the next day to be sure.

Does anyone have experienced this and how long did it take for the visa to be issued after you have resubmitted the requested document(s) please?

Thank you so much.

Gosh, I’m sorry to hear that. If it’s been that much longer than the projected timeline I would maybe try and get in touch with them - do they provide a way to do so at all?

Also curious how long it took you to receive the RFE email? They said it would be a couple of days but I still haven’t heard anything (and I need it for the courier service).

When did you have your interview? I was requested to resubmit online (CEAC) I never received any email. Try a phone number from the contact us section after you log onto your account. I will try that.

Ooh yes, I may give them a call tomorrow!

I was told to expect an email telling me my application was refused and why and instructions on what to submit. I also need to post an original document to the embassy so am expecting the email to have courier info too.
