Greetings,

I petitioned for my fiancée over a year ago ( I129F). The petition was recently approved. The problem is she is from Haiti and the US embassy there is close as of right now.

My question is is there any other alternative, because I see the the approval is only valid for 4 months.

Have you checked the US Embassy for Haiti's website?  I may be wrong, but I thought I remember seeing somewhere that Haitians are currently eligible to interview in Santo Domingo.
