For Dreamer25: We received our NVC notice of receipt within four days of being approved. We paid the processing fees the same day but are still waiting for them to be in ‘paid’ status. Maybe you should try reaching I out to Emma/INFOPASS for help since you already tried the NVC? It does state up to 45 days for the USCIS-NVC handoff, but from what I’ve been reading it’s typically just a couple of weeks. I hope it’ll be soon for you.

Thank you so much, miha25 and OldUser. I just contacted a live agent through Emma, and she said the USCIS no longer has the jurisdiction of my case - please contact the NVC
I hope this means something good!

Hi Dreamer25, have you heard anything yet? We seem to be in the same situation as my approval was also the 12th and it has been silence from NVC. I tried contacting and heard the same as you. I am considering maybe trying to go through my congress person but I am not sure if I should.

Hey, no update yet! I contacted NVC again and was given the same response. I am waiting a few more days before reaching out to my senator. They may or may not help, but I don’t see why we should not

Hello everyone just wanted to update y’all.
My husband got his interview date on Feb 3 and it took us only 1.5 week to get his IL from our embassy.

Congrats!! That’s very quick @Enigomlom

@Sol and Yone I am still waiting to get my welcome letter from the NVC. Have you reached out to the congress person?

@Dreamer25 Sorry for the delay, I did reach out but never heard a response back. I am not sure if it made a difference because I also used the ask Emma feature several times. My case ended up getting reopened and I received a second approval that same day which was about a few weeks ago like three and that seemed to do the trick. I then got my NVC letter 24 hours after.

same exact date and waiting

You need to file a mandamus at this point. You've been skipped over. This is becoming more and more common these days. Our PD was July 28, 2023. It was clear we were skipped over by late October. We hired an attorney, filed a lawsuit, and were approved in mid-December. Now we're DQ'd. Highly recommended.

How much did it cost to file a lawsuit?
