Hi All,

 

I posted a few months ago regarding the wait times of our petition dropping dramatically. Recently, the wait time dropped to one week and it is now saying "it is taking longer than usual etc...". (Pictures below)

 

My question is, how does this work? Will we now be seeing this same message for a year or is it likely to change in a few months. As seen by the images, we submitted the petition on the 28th June and it started getting reviewed on 15th Sept.

 

Will there be any insight to this or is it just a blind waiting game now? I am sorry for being impatient, but we got a bit excited seeing that the times were dropping and now we just want to prepare for what's ahead. Thank you! :)

You're best just to ignore the wait time. I wish they would do away with the timeline messages, they just get people's hopes up or dash them, and neither is helpful. Obviously your case isn't taking longer than expected if you only applied in June, so how do they think that's a useful message?!? 😂

We all guess what future wait times will be, and you do see some outlier cases but reasonable to assume you have some way to go.

 

Those messages are common, no idea why.
