I just got my NVC welcome letter few day ago, and i checked my CEAC status is ready after the day I got my NVC welcome letter. But right now, i checked my CEAC status is show "refused". Anyone encounter this situation? What should I do? And, any assistance can help me to better understand what is going on? Thank you very much.

Hi, I am in the same situation. My understanding is that 'refused' means it is in administrative processing. I am not sure why though and have not been contacted. I'll check back in once I have an update.

Thanks for replying. I communicated with a visa agent, and the agent told me that we don't need to worry too much about the CEAC status right now since we haven't scheduled an interview date and haven't received the P3 instruction email from the embassy yet. The CEAC status is only valid for those who have attended the interview and serves as a visa condition for the decision made by the CO.
