Which form are you talking about? I-693?

I-693:

Edition Date : 9/16/05. Previous editions accepted.

Most forms are acceptable long after the edition date on the form.

sorry- yes.

I just know that our doctor called late last night and said that we had to have the updated form. Just a FYI :)

The doctor un-unnecessarily misinterpreted the "Expire date" like most, that date has to do with OMB (Office of Management and Budget), and has to do with the evaluation period set by OMB for USCIS to comment on it, NOT when the form expires and is no longer accepted, acceptance periods are indicated on USCIS web site, not on the form.
