Hi folks,

We are just about to depart for our medical, and then have our appointment at the London Embassy in a few weeks time. We are a family of 5 and I am just wondering if anyone has any advice in terms of 1) where we would be able to store some of our belongings prior to the interview 2) if a stroller/pram/buggy is permitted inside the embassy (our youngest daughter is 18 months old) - this can fold up if need be) 3) if anyone has any feedback on EB interview questions etc

Many thanks, and good luck to you all on your journey

Hi,
My EB2-NIW petition has been approved, and I have an immigrant visa interview scheduled for next week at Paris consulate, France. I noticed that you also went through the same category.

I have a question regarding the interview process.

Could you please share your interview experience? What questions were asked? Were you approved for the visa?

Thanks and regards,

He was EB-3, not EB2 NIW, and also hasn't been on the forum for a couple of years. You can search to find more recent experiences though.

Reviews are at the top of the page. And search by putting key words in to the search bar, making sure you go to 'advanced' and selecting all of those words. You can also look at the long running EB threads for info, you might find some there.

But somebody else's experience isn't going to reflect yours anyway, so I really wouldn't worry about it if you can't find any. Whatever they were asked isn't likely to be the same for you, the officer will ask you specific questions based on your own application, not anybody else's.

Good luck.

Well done for always helping everyone i see your comments. Well done. It takes a lot to keep coming back here and helping everyones questions.

I wonder why IL have not been released. Is there like an online tracker for those who recieved their dates? For those of us who transfered how does it work. Do we go straight on que as per date DQ or as per transfer date

Not been released this month you mean? They are usually towards the end of the month so may just be too early.

It's done by DQ date, but transfers seem to take a bit longer. Just in case you haven't found it yet, this shows you what month they're current scheduling for, it's those who were DQ'ed in Feb 2025 - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/iv-wait-times.html

Not a clue! Just something I've noticed, particularly if it's from a country with a big backlog (as presumably the short staffing causing that backlog also means a delay in sending files over). If it's only been 2 months then you're still well within normal timescales even without a transfer - they're currently scheduling those DQ'ed in Feb.

My guess is that you may need to wait until October, as I suspect the visa limit will be reached before you get your interview. But that is just a guess, nobody knows for sure.

Good luck.
