Anyone who did this (online, snail mail and phone call)? Now that we already got the interview date, I would like to fill the form.

We are way over 10 days since we move out, is it okay to file? How long will the change of address take effect....Will they give us notices for that?

Helpful suggestions appreciated. Have a nice day everybody!

Anytime a resident alien moves the AR-11 needs to be filed within 10 days. You need to file it ASAP, they don't send you a letter acknowledging it.

Do it on line.

If you moved and need to change address for correspondence regarding a pending case, call USCIS to change address, then call a day or so later to confirm the address change.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

If you do it online you will only get confirmation (by snail mail) for any pending cases. Once you finish doing the change of address online it will ask you for receipts of any pending applications so have your case numbers ready. I received confirmation by after I think 10-14 days by snail mail (got one for the EAD but not the AOS but my interview letter did in fact arrive at the correct address).

If your spouse is your sponsor, they'll have to fill out an I-865 and mail it in. They'll also get a confirmation by snail mail.

At your AOS interview, make sure you ask them if they have your correct address. Also make sure you do a change of address with USPS.
